This summer I tried block printing for the first time and loved it. I used my friend's bachelor party river trip as an excuse to make custom tank tops. You can view the shirts here. What I liked most was the carving process and the end result. I miss working with my hands and since screen printing can be so complicated and expensive, block printing was the perfect alternative.
My friend Jeff is a man of good taste. He recently made me a shirt, so I figured I would make him a shirt and use it as an excuse for another block print. I'm keeping this one simple with just the word "Fancy" in script. I think I am going to use a cream ink on a "cranberry" colored shirt by American Apparel.
